  • Comment -- Sociology is one of the social sciences; there are others, and there will probably be an overlap between them. Unless you can positively say that all the content is applicable to the social sciences generally, this should not be merged. I lack the expertise to judge. The only article in this category,
2007 College Football Hall of Fame ballot, is about the Hall of Fame inductees from that year. We have a lot of annual award subcategories, like the Category:Academy Awards ceremonies, so I don't have a conceptual problem with this category but in practice only 1 article has appeared since 2007 so the subcategory doesn't aid navigation in the near term.
