This article is about a 2015 landmark decision by the United States Supreme Court which legalized same-sex marriage nationwide. The court ruled that banning same-sex marriage violated the fourteenth amendment to the United States Constitution. Justice Anthony Kennedy delivered the majority opinion.

- Oppose This article has good structure, but relies way too heavily on the actual court cases (WP:PRIMARY sources) and seems to cite zero legal scholarship, of which there is abundance. This needs weeks of work, and the nomination should be preferably carried out by someone with demonstrated familiarity with most of the sources cited. -Indy beetle (talk) 09:21, 24 May 2022 (UTC)]
