Original – The border of the pines forest of the Bois des Aresquiers with Aleppo Pines (Pinus halepensis), in the background the Mount Saint-Clair and the town of Sète. On the left there is a carpet of Salicornia europaea. The place is protected by the Conservatoire du littoral. Vic-la-Gardiole, Hérault, France.

IMO, it meets the FPC criteria and has very good quality.

  • 1989: FP criteria #5 says "significant encyclopedic value" and "helps readers to understand an article". In this case the article is just one sentence (there isn't much there), plus the image is used in a gallery. Both of those are negatives the way images are reviewed here. Oppose.
