American Bank Note Company engraved portrait of Caleb Strong. Delegate to the Constitutional Convention, Strong was part of the inaugural class of the United States Senate (from Massachusetts, 1789–96), and then Governor of Massachusetts

Reason: High quality, high EV, prior image was very small and low resolution. Lead image with css image crop used to produce appropriately sized thumbnail in the article.
