Gsthae with tempo! is a cross-wiki vandal and troll targeting frwiki, frwiktionary, enwiki, simplewiki and more. They use IPs geolocating to France and accounts that usually have usernames mimicking real peoples’ names. They have been trolling since 2007 when they first registered on frwiki as Redirectionneur Phou (now Redirectionneur_Phou~frwiki due to SUL standardization). Their vandalism involves creating patent nonsense pages, usually in draftspace, that consist of Jabberwocky-like "word salad" phrases. Such drafts may sometimes be in a fancy font containing pseudo-Latin characters. They are also known to make useless redirects on frwiki with weird spellings or towards unrelated topics, and they also troll the frwiki forums asking people to translate their nonsensical sentences.
Habitual behavior
- Usernames usually look like real peoples' names with hyphenated last names, and sometimes may end in a string of numbers.
- Most accounts are throwaways.
- Makes patent nonsense pages, usually as drafts but sometimes in obscure namespaces, and usually re-using a handful of titles that include "Mixing Sailors", "Rooster Inversions", "Definition of a Cute Fall", "Medicine Men", "Interesting analyses that will last forever", "Purple-skinned drivers or mentalists, and feudalism", "Theft Principles", and variations of these titles. They will make minor changes, such as adding diacritics or extra characters, to spoof the edit filter when their titles are blacklisted.
- On frwiki and frwiktionary, makes seemingly nonsensical redirects and trolls help desks or other forums with creating nonsense text in other languages and asking others to translate those.
- Nonsense drafts by this user contain real (or fake) English words, but the sentences do not make sense. For example, "Moosh drives like a horn because his tie is not more than a crablike queefish. Cats dubbed with strings, a horror diet clowned about a forshipmore the naggats and the snorrs of a strumporish hisnut." is an example of nonsense in this user's drafts (see https://pastebin.com/T079gnnH for more examples of nonsense drafts). Occasionally, pages may contain a Chinese translation of the nonsensical sentence as well.
