Request Information

Seems that:

  1. people who cannot read hebrew insist on editing this page.
  2. all articles/links are either published by Keller himself (or qoutations of him) or by sites which echo his words.
  3. for some reason, despite him and his group being heavily criticised, criticism is cencored from wikipedia (see history of article)

Who are the involved parties?

Jaakobou, RolandR

What's going on?

criticism about keller is being censored.

What would you like to change about that?

an NPOV presentation (i.e. criticism) must be allowed with an article on a subject matter that runs a defamation campaign against his own country.

Discussion

While using the talk page of the article in question to solve a dispute is encouraged to involve a larger audience, feel free to discuss the case below if that is not possible. Other mediators are also encouraged to join in on the discussion as Wikipedia is based on consensus.

I don't see why any mediation is necessary, and I disagree with Jaakobou's summary of the situation on the page. He wants to put on the page an alleged comment by a journalist. I have produced the source, in which he does not make the alleged comment. Jaakobou wants to include allegations about Keller explicitly denied by Keller himself; Jaakobou's source is quotes by Keller , who he describes as "a self-published propagandist who endulges in exaggerations and lies". So if Keller says something Jaakonbou accepts, this is a fact; if he says something Jaakobou rejects, it is "a lie". Jaakobou's repeated ad hominem attacks on Keller suggest that he is unable to edit this article in a neutral manner. His rejection of material from The Guardian, which he describes as an "anti-israel publication known for it's gross mistakes" also casts doubr on his neutral POV. And his implied view that only those who can read Hebrew are entitled to edit this article on English Wikipedia is frankly outrageous. So I see no point in entering mediation with this highly POV editor, whose good faith in this case I strongly doubt. RolandR 13:45, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

that's quite a personal attack and misrepresentation, i agreed to add his articles (despite credibility issues) albight it must include the criticism he published about himself.
in any event, since you seem to be censoring from his articles what you don't like, i am forced to look for mediation of some sort. Jaakobou 14:51, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
