On February 7, 2013, the Michigan Wikipedians collaborated with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library to host the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library Edit-A-Thon. The event ran from 5pm to 7pm. Editors new and old were most welcome!

Agenda

The edit-a-thon at the Ford library had two primary purposes: 1) to improve content relating to the life, career, and presidency of Gerald Ford and 2) to help new editors learn the basics of Wikipedia editing. The event consisted of a mix of new and experienced editors, as well as members of both the Michigan Wikipedians and WikiProject Gerald Ford. Before the edit-a-thon, a shortlist of potential articles to work on was generated, which included the articles Electoral history of Gerald Ford, Inauguration of Gerald Ford, and Betty Ford. In the end, Inauguration of Gerald Ford was chosen and then edited collaboratively by the participants at the edit-a-thon.
