Wikipedia:Naming conventions (slogans)

Source: Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

This naming convention concerns whether to flag slogans in article titles and if so, then how and whether to limit this to offensive slogans only. The current de facto practice is that most slogans are not tagged. However, certain slogans are tagged on grounds of offensiveness; these are listed below. No de jure rule has ever been decided upon; some discussion has taken place at Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (slogans).

Currently tagged slogans (please keep this up to date!):

  • Slogan 'Jesus is Lord'
  • More Irish than the Irish themselves (slogan)

Several other titles along these lines exist as redirects only.
