I'm not sure I've heard him play anything much except blues songs. Though American, he comes from a British blues musical tradition. While I wouldn't doubt that someone could find a singular instance or two of him playing in a different style, most of the performances I have seen or heard have been basically blues-based. I've watched his Live from the Royal Albert Hall and his An Acoustic Evening at the Vienna Opera House both on the Palladia channel (now MTV Live) in the U.S., and while they differ in instrumentation (the former is an electric set and the latter an all-acoustic set), the music is decided bluesy. --Jayron32 16:35, 3 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I would agree with you, though it depends on your definition of blues. I would call most of his stuff blues rock, and he is indeed mentioned in our article.
