  • Supporting evidence: Requesting check of two probably new socks. Another confirmed sock, Mcfuglyofbubbles, appeared between these two, all doing the same types of edits and primarily focusing on the Kanon Wakeshima article.   • Supporting evidence: Per Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Archive180#Bubblesmcfuglyguy userpage claims and User:Bubblesmcfuglyguy's user page stating states that "bubblesmcfuglyguy is a Wikipedia user who fixes wrong edits.and makes other accounts to mess up the peoples pages that he hates such as Johnny Rotten,Andy Taylor of Duran Duran,and many more". In looking at the situation, these accounts all have similar edits, particularly on the Kanon Wakeshima article (who Bubbles claims to love). Ilovethings2 had a similar userpage as well[1] indicating that he really is socking. Filing request to confirm these are his socks and to find any others and block them. Bubblesmcfuglyguy's has already been indef blocked for disruptive editing. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 19:36, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

He has claimed to use several socks to vandalize multiple articles. Of the socks suspected, no blatant vandalism has been found so far, but he is using the same accounts to cross edit the same articles within hours of one another, giving a false appearance of consensus for his edits He has also used the multiple accounts to edit on the same article for the false appearance of consensus and of more active editing on an article than really exists[2][3] The Bubbles one itself has not done pure vandalism, though has done some slow edit warring by continuing to restore MoS violations to the Kanon article after they've been cleaned up, without giving comment nor edit summaries. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 00:35, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
