Nangparbat

  • Supporting evidence: If you check the contribs of each user you will see they all make the exact same non-NPOV edits to the exact same articles every single day. Most of the accounts have been blocked, several of them have stated on thier talk page below the block warning that they will just come back the next day on a new ip and continue thier edits. A
WP:SSP case has been filed against User:Nangparbat, but we are told to also file a WP:RFCU case also. As this is persistent vandalism across a large ip range it may require some sort of large block otherwise this will never end. Knowledgeum :  Talk  17:49, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply

Linking Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Nangparbat for clarity; also put listed IPs in numeric order. The majority of listed IP addresses fall into the same range: 86.128.0.0/10 (block range · block log (global) · WHOIS (partial)), which appears prohibitively large to block completely. You mention the same articles are hit daily; you may wish to request semi-protection for repeat targets at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection. – Luna Santin (talk) 00:16, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • no Declined; I'm not seeing a reason to check a throwaway account used for one day's edits. The ISP here is British Telecom; unless you want to block about 20 millions Brits from editing, you're going to have to semi-protect or just watch the articles carefully.
