So, you decided you want to find a source for some Wikipedia fact. You can find it online, or you can find it in print. Here is a place to begin listing some easily accessible reference books and websites that will have basic information. Please add as you see fit. These books should be accessible in most major libraries.

• Library of Congress American Memory Collection — large collection of public domain information, mainly related to the United States
