Suspected sockpuppets

It seems very likely Shakdust487 is a sock of Alpoin117.

First, the username. Just today, it was renamed to 'Shakdust487' from previous name 'Weisz21': see user talk page history. The Alpoin117 account was also previously named 'Dweisz94' – see here.

Now, onto the edits. Yesterday Alpoin117 was blocked indefinitely for edit warring and personal attacks on Self-immolation of Aaron Bushnell and Portal:Current events/2024 February 26.

On the current events portal, about 6 hours after Alpoin117 restored their edit for the second time, Shakdust487 came and fixed a typo in Alpoin117's edit, but on top of that, wrote "I actually agree, ..." in the edit summary, which seems to refer to Alpoin117's edit. Basically, that second account is 'supporting' Alpoin117 here.

Constant reverts like this is part of what got Alpoin117 blocked from editing. Those edits led to this thread on Alpoin117's user talk page, where they said stuff like That’s pretty dangerous to consider this the criteria for deserving a quote box, generally a quote box is deserved for significant people. and Wikipedia is not a game it’s a serious matter influencing people and if Wikipedia was as smart as good governments it would completely understand this emergency.
About 8 hours later, the other Shakdust487 (Weisz21) account comes to make this thread on the talk page of that article, where they write Request to propose speedy deletion for this page for it’s likelihood to increase violence around the world. The similarity I see here is that they use words like "dangerous" and "violence" to try and convince the other editor that this is apparently something really serious. Basically both accounts are using an aggressive kind of tone here.

Later on that current events portal page once again, they make this edit where they remove the Aaron Bushnell self-immolation page entirely from the portal. Though they self-reverted that edit shortly after. But once again, it's the same old behaviour of trying to erase this event from Wikipedia.
20 hours earlier, Alpoin117 also once removed that event and all the Israel-Hamas related stuff from above it, exactly like the previous edit diff mentioned here from the other user.

The ANI thread that led to Alpoin117's block was written by the editor User:Salmoonlight. Well, about 15 hours later, the Shakdust487 (Weisz21) account posts what appears to be a retaliatory, "counter-accusation" thread against User:Salmoonlight, accusing them of making persistent edits on the Current Events portal in trying to restore false information pertaining to the death of a self immolator. In the history of that portal we can clearly see edits from both Alpoin117 and Shakdust487 trying to obstruct the wording of or outright removing the self-immolation event from the page. — AP 499D25 (talk) 02:14, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets

IP user editing the user talk page of above-noted blocked sock to claim another IP is impersonating them here. Additionally, they have vandalized the page by making malicious unblock requests here. Most of the time, I would write this off as pure vandalism and take it to ANI, but after reviewing the user's behavior, it seems that they do make contributions that could appear to some as good faith or unintentionally disruptive, so marking this down here in case they try to feign ignorance of something like this in the event of a
