Originally pointed out by Ravenswing.[1] GoRebs and Emoore2914 have recently engaged in edit warring at Denver Outlaws, outside of which they both have very little contributions on Wikipedia. GoRebs's latest edits to the page, and on Wikipedia,[2][3] occurred days prior to Emoore2914's recent string of edits to the page.[4] Both users make similarly lengthy and incoherent arguments,[5][6] which exclusively make appeals to authority, and exclusively reference the same source.[7][8] Both also make similar references to "the fans and the people who care about the team
" and "the PLL and its fans
" in their arguments.[5][9] Both explicitly express contempt for consensus, and use similar language against users opposing their views, who to them are "the only ones
" in opposition.[10][11]
Both make claims about the Premier Lacrosse League's (PLL) involvement with the article – GoRebs claims "an intern from the PLL
" is editing the page, likely referencing edits by Emoore2914,[12][13] and Emoore2914 would claim their actions "come from the pll office
", and that they're "telling [us] what the PLL wants
".[4][14][15] It's unusual for GoRebs to make this claim without any evidence at the time and suddenly have it be substantiated later. Drmies and I respectively asked them both to disclose any conflicts of interest.[16][17] GoRebs stated that they're "just a fan
", while Emoore2914 has not responded as of writing.[18]
Seeing as these two are the only supporters in an active proposed merger discussion; and how disruptive they've been and likely will be in the future, leading to the article earning a temporary full protection status; it'd be valuable to gauge the likelihood of sockpuppetry occurring here, as Ravenswing and I suspect. — AFC Vixen 🦊 15:59, 20 February 2025 (UTC)

- CU isn't particularly helpful here. It's
Possible, I guess, but any connection would need to be based on the behaviour. Girth Summit (blether) 16:33, 24 February 2025 (UTC)
- Warned both users about socking. Closing. Feel free to report again if they continue editing in a way that suggests socking. MarioGom (talk) 14:41, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
