Suspected sockpuppets

Virtually identical edit history, adding spurious dates or names, adding or removing other minor details, and making minor formatting changes on pages about popes and monarch.

Virtually identical user names give further support the assumption that at least five of these are all the same user. Willud Eider has identical editing patterns but a different name. Clean Copytalk 12:35, 18 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Self-endorsed by clerk for checkuser attention - all of the Labasan accounts are obviously related but I can't figure out Willud Eider, the pattern is close but not quite a match. Please check, and see if there have been any new "Labasan" accounts created after this report was filed. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 16:27, 5 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

More Labasans editing same articles: 1, 2. If this account is confirmed, it should have been indef'ed.

Also the edit history of Dean of the College of Cardinals - Job Labasan and Jobee Dalog editing same article at same time. -★- PlyrStar93. Message me. 03:32, 26 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Same topic focus on dates in lists of royalty and popes, and like the sock master changes dates without adding any citations, e.g. [1][2][3][4].

I'm not clear about what's inadequate with the diffs. They seem to meet the requirements listed below.

  • Comment. Of These diffs, the two relevant ones are:
    • Diff of confirmed sock: [5]
    • Diff of suspected sock: [6]
Additionally, I have found:
I can find more if needed. It is probably worth noting that they have created at least

Additional information needed. In order to facilitate and expedite your request, please provide

diffs
to support your case. Please give two or more diffs meeting the following format:

  1. At least one diff is from the sockmaster (or an account already blocked as a confirmed sockpuppet of the sockmaster), showing the behaviour characteristic of the sockmaster.
  2. At least one diff per suspected sockpuppet, showing the suspected sockpuppet emulating the behaviour of the sockmaster given in the first diff.
  3. In situations where it is not immediately obvious from the diffs what the characteristic behaviour is, a short explanation must be provided. Around one sentence is enough for this. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 06:01, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I've already blocked both these accounts as sockpuppets as this was self-admitted a while ago: User talk:KILLERXR#Interesting. I came across this on ANI at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/IncidentArchive1055#Disruptive editing by User:KILLERXR and I blocked the first account per DUCK, and then the second was just brought to my attention on my talk page. I'm opening this partly to record this socking and partly because I suspect there will be other accounts. Fences&Windows 19:45, 1 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Editing same, otherwise unconnected, subjects as most recent confirmed socks KILLERXR and Kimlabs1996: Longevity (e.g. List of oldest living state leaders, List of centenarians (politicians and civil servants) and Philippines court system List of justices of the Supreme Court of the Philippines, Court of Appeals of the Philippines, Court of Tax Appeals. Has as much as admitted they are a sock [9]. DerbyCountyinNZ (Talk Contribs) 05:36, 9 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I must agree with this proposal. Additionally, the user made even the same suggestion on the talk page ([10]) as one of his previous profiles ([11]). 13:05, 10 November 2021 (UTC)StjepanHR (talk)

  • Also overlaps on the topic of Philippine typhoons ([12]; ctrl+f typhoon at [13]). Run-on sentences like [14] vs. [15]. And, at [16], there's what appears to be the unique ES style of "$name update" rather than the standard "update $name"; the only other account to do this is past sock KILLERXR. (Verified by ctrl+f'ing the view-source for  update< and weeding through a few false positives. All in all, this is too many similarities for there to be any plausible good-faith explanation. Edits the same articles as previous socks, including List of retired Philippine typhoon names [17], [18], [19], [20]; Supreme Court of the Philippines [21], [22], [23], [24], [25], [26] and List of oldest living state leaders [27], [28], [29], [30], [31], [32], [33], [34]. On notification of being a sock they denied being a sock of one of the sockpuppets (not mentioned by me) using similar vague wording as they did for their last sock (again mentioning a sock not mentioned by me). • Comparing to CU log data, this sock seems to be in the same medium to small sized country as previous socks. Dreamy Jazz talk to me | my contributions 12:03, 11 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
