Template:Neighborhoods of Jerusalem (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)

I observed a recent template nominated for deletion because the template performed the same role as a category, and it contained too many entries for useful navigation. The same principle applies here. The template, as large as it is, still does not contain a complete list of neighborhoods in Jerusalem. I have stored a copy (subst'ed) on my userpage to keep track of the redlinks, but for navigation the category will suffice. Chutznik (talk) 19:17, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep—I disagree; the template is very useful for navigation, and it's alphabetized so the size doesn't seem to be a problem (and it's not that big anyway). The category structure is not meant to replace, but rather compliment, navigation templates. —Ynhockey (Talk) 21:18, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That's a reasonable argument. I personally find the template useful, but I want to make sure its usage is consistent with general practice. Chutznik (talk) 21:33, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
What do you believe to be inconsistent with general practice in the template? —Ynhockey (Talk) 01:10, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Perhaps we could find better ways to organize the template, but for now it still serves as a useful navigation template. --Al Ameer son (talk) 04:25, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep nothing wrong with it. --Shuki (talk) 22:18, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - I disagree, per Ynhockey. Perhaps it could be better organized, though I'm not sure quite how, but it really isn't too big. - Epson291 (talk) 03:08, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
