• Per suggestions following the first issue, The WikiEagle now features a new format. If you have an idea on how to improve this newsletter, you are encouraged to share it at The WikiEagle talk page.
• Starting next month, The WikiEagle will interview an experienced editor each month about their aviation-related editing experiences. If you wish to be interviewed, please let ZLEA know.
• The Jean Batten article was promoted to Good Article status on 7 January after being nominated by Trainsandotherthings.

WikiProject Aviation has gained 2 new members: Autumnlei and Primetimeweb. Pyramids09 has left the WikiProject. This brings the number of active members to 387, with the total number of members being 922.
