- Why do you want to start a new group, instead of joining one of these existing groups?
- Because MLB teams with a lot of history has its own group (e.g. WP:LAD) to handle/manage articles related to their teams. I don't see why this storied franchise should not have its own.

- I would join the project. While I am a Mets fan (and a member of WP:METS), the Giants are my west coast team. Had the Giants (and Dodgers) never moved out of NYC (and the Mets not been founded to replace them), I would likely have been a Giants fan. Omnis Scientia (talk) 23:09, 10 January 2024 (UTC)]
