Welcome to the Dates WikiProject, a collaboration area and group of editors dedicated to providing a useful and standard way of formatting dates within articles.

Goals

• Improve consistency of date formats, both within articles and across Wikipedia.

Scope

• Any article that has dates (linked or unlinked) in the text.

A few suggestions to start us off

• Compile a comprehensive list of all articles with dates in them. Done. See /Statistics.
• Develop a set of criteria for standard date formats for articles.
