Guild of Copy Editors January 2014 backlog elimination drive wrap-up
 Participation: Thanks to all who participated in the drive and helped out behind the scenes. For this drive, 37 people signed up, of whom 27 completed at least one article. Final results are available here. Progress report: The target months of October and November 2012 were removed from the backlog, and after a rocky start, the overall backlog was reduced by 145 articles. The total backlog was 2,777 articles at the end of January. On the requests page, 44 copy edit requests were completed during January and the length of the queue was reduced by three articles.
