Improving navigation

There are several ways to make it easier for readers to find new articles.

  • New articles should be placed in appropriate
    WP:EGRS
    provide important guidance on categorizing articles about people.
  • Navigational templates for LGBT topics can be added to articles, creating links between all articles with the template.
  • New and expanded articles can be submitted to WP:Did you know, and if selected will be featured on the Main Page.

Assessing articles

Assessing article quality helps WP:LGBT members to recognize excellent contributions and identify topics in need of further work. They also play a role in the

WP:1.0
program, which the WikiProject uses to help automate some of the assessing process.

Improving articles

There are several ways to find articles for improvement.

  • WP:LGBT/Core
    lists articles that are of fundamental importance to WP:LGBT's mandate.
  • WP:VA
    for more information.
  • WP:LGBT/Popular
    lists the 500 highest traffic articles within WP:LGBT.
  • Use the quality table to pick an article from one class and work to get it to a higher class.
  • Review former featured articles and former good articles that have been demoted, and work to restore their status.
