The League of Copyeditors is perpetually backlogged with

requests
for articles to be copyedited. Before requesting a copyedit, editors should be aware that articles must meet certain conditions for that request to be accepted. These conditions are explained below.

  1. The article must be written in English. The League will not copyedit articles that are written in a language other than English, or those which have been auto-translated into English.
  2. The article must comply with the major stylistic requirements of the

  3. The article must be free from major content issues. The League exists to polish the prose of an article towards the "compelling, even brilliant" level found in
