Most if not all of Louisiana's NRHP-listed sites have info sheets available from the state now, via Louisiana state historic sites system. Use of this is documented a bit at

• Marsden Mounds was incorrectly included in Wikipedia's West Carroll Parish list-article until just now switched to Wikipedia's Richland Parish list-article by User:Floridasand. Their identification of Richland Parish is supported by fact that "Marsden site" is shown within Louisiana state historic sites system's results for Richland, not the other. And the Louisiana PDF document for the Marsden site mentions Richland Parish twice in its bibliography, as the site was covered in surveys of Richland Parish archeological sites (and has no mention of West Carroll). In NRIS's 2010a version, "Marsden (16R13)", also known as "LMS 23-K-4", is listed with "nearest city" being Delhi, Louisiana (which is in Richland) but with West Carroll Parish, Louisiana incorrectly listed as its county. --doncram 22:59, 14 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

• Shepherd Building with date November 11, 1979, at 629 Milam St., Shreveport, Louisiana. Mentioned now in lower table of National Register of Historic Places listings in Caddo Parish, Louisiana. The property was entered into the NRHP with listing status code "DR", which stands for"DATE RECEIVED/PENDING NOMINATION", so its status is unclear. • Alice C Planation House — correct "Planation" to "Plantation" per http://www.crt.state.la.us/hp/nhl/document2.asp?name=51024001.pdf&title=Alice+C+Plantation+House, its nomination form. Nyttend (talk) 15:51, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
• Pegram Plantation House may or may not also sometimes be known as "Peagram Plantation House", which is the title of the Louisiana documentation page for it, at http://www.crt.state.la.us/dataprojects/hp/nhl/view.asp?ID=1221. • Lake Providence Residential Historic District seems to be the proper name for the 1980-listed district, per Louisiana documentation for the Lake Providence Multiple Resource Area, but NRIS lists as "Lake Providence Residential Street Historic District" (with "Street" added, seemingly incorrectly). --doncram 23:18, 5 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

• Schepis Building, on Main St., Columbia, Louisiana, is listed in NRIS as "Shepis Building". Builder was Schepis, Nicholas John, which NRIS lists as "Shepis, Nicholas John". Refnum = 86000069. • Ogilvie Hardware Company Building at 217 Jones St. in Shreveport, Louisiana is listed in NRIS as being in "Shrevport"

• Beauregard Town Historic District (Boundary Increase), refnum 99001712, is described in NRIS as being located in "Beauregard Town, Louisiana". • Alexandre Fontenot fils, or Fontenot, Alexandre, fils House, or something like that, is listed in NRIS as being in Grand Praire, Louisiana. • Robin House and Barn in St. Landry Parish is listed in "Amaudville" (A M A U D ville), but the correct name is "Arnaudville" (A R N A U D ville). Nyttend (talk) 17:11, 19 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

• LA 485 and Blosmoore Road, in vicinity of Allen, Louisiana. Per Google maps, Allen is a hamlet about 3.5 miles away. However NRIS identifies Spanish Lake, Louisiana as the nearest city; Google maps shows a Spanish Lake very very far away. The NRHP registration document does not say the church is in or near Spanish Lake; it merely mentions a Spanish Lake in the title of a source. • New Canal Lighthouse, ref #85003186 was badly damaged by hurricane Katrina It has been taken apart and stored, pending funding for rebuilding. Since it's in New Orleans, on the shore of Lake Pontchartrain, that's possible although given the various needs in Louisiana, it may take a while. . . . . Jim . . . . • Chandeleur Light, on the other hand, was completely destroyed by Katrina. It's reported that there is now 17 feet of water over the site. Since it was off shore in the Gulf, there's no reason to rebuild or restore, so mark this one gone for good. May as well note here that the "nearest city" given is New Orleans. It may be the nearest in Louisiana, but Biloxi, Mississippi is much closer and even in Louisiana Google shows a variety of closer settlements. . . . . Jim . . . . • Kansas City Southern Railroad Bridge, Cross Bayou is listed in NRIS as having architect "John Alexander Law Waddell", but the correct name is John Alexander Low Waddell (need to change "Law" -> "Low"). • St. Mary's Episcopal Church (Franklin, Louisiana) has area of .25 acres (0.10 ha), not 25 acres (10 ha) as reported in NRIS2013a.^[1]
