(History of the) History of Oregon

Besides general articles on Oregon history (see priority list below), one of the main priorites of the WPOR History Subproject is to create an article on the History of Oregon.  Done This article currently redirects to the History section in the main Oregon article. Back in August of 2006 User:EngineerScotty created a subpage of WPOR for a rough draft of the History of Oregon article, here: Wikipedia:WikiProject Oregon/History of Oregon. Right now it is mostly just an outline, but as more individual history articles are created, they can be used to flesh out the main article.

For the Oregon article to reach

Featured article status, it will need to have a History section that uses the {{main
}} template to link to a well-written History of Oregon article.

Discussion about suggestions for content and subsections of the History of Oregon page, including a collection of history templates, are on the talkpage.

Feel free to add any article suggestions below.
