On a low-res screen, the Image of the Day box is far too narrow - the text runs to only about two or three words per line before wrapping, and you have to scroll down quite a way to actually see the picture! (I imagine this might be even worse with a Landscape style picture, rather than the Portrait we have as I type). Similarly, the In the News column stretches off the edge of the screen, with only about 50% of it actually being visible without scrolling from side to side. I was thinking about moving "on this day" to the top right instead of the featured image, as I like having the date-specific items on top and the trivia type sections lower. Maybe switch the In this day section with Did you know. On this day and the In the news are event related, and FAs/GAs and DYK tend to be features of well written content. --NickPenguin_(contribs) 03:09, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I cannot see enough of the page - the header takes up the vast majority of the screen on my laptop.
