Removal of republished article from the project page

I have just edited a large swathe of text, the republished article as it stood earlier today, form the discussion and replaced it with a permalink. The contributor who pasted the article in its entirety is not yet experienced in all the tools at our disposal in Wikipedia and is unlikely to have known that a link could be made to the permalink of that version.

My rationale for doing this is to assist the discussion by ensuring that their contribution to it is not obscured by text. There is a danger of text that is too long not being read. I wanted to ensure that the arguments proposed were given clear space on the page so that the arguments could be seen, digested and understood.
