Notable means "worthy of being noted" or "attracting notice." In terms of notability, a organisation which provides a new way of getting loans to the rural poor is to me at least worthy of notice. Other peer – to-peer micro-lenders have found Indian exchange controls too hard and simply ignore a billion people. If innovation is noteworthy, the site belongs.

My understanding of self-promotion - projects in which you have a strong personal involvement – is that it is permitted as long as a neutral point of view is followed. I have to declare I also have an interest in the organisation, just as I am interested in other pages I have created or edited. I hope that does not disqualify me from editing the page.

I think a POV tag needs to be added – what needs to be done is to add ' verifiable perspectives on a topic found in reliable sources.' These sources should not include the website itself. Herne nz (talk) 09:01, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
