This is the most absurd decision I've read in Wiki so far... What is the reason for deletion? Was someone inhaling too many mushrooms?? This is a major road in Toronto, York Region reaching some distance from

York Region
in the coming weeks.... And of course, the original campus of
Greek Orthodox
Church (St John's)...

If there is a reason to delete this road from the Wiki, perhaps the rest of the category: Toronto streets should be purged (some do require edits, however...) as well. I am NOT amused! (Unsigned comment by Bacl-presby.)

  • Being a major arterial is not, in and of itself, a reason for a city street to have a Wikipedia article, and neither are the listing of things that happen to be on the street or the listing of highways that the road happens to interchange with. A road needs to have demonstrable historical or cultural significance (eg. Yonge Street, Broadway, Sussex Drive) that makes it famous enough that a person who's never been to the city or seen a map of it could still conceivably have heard of the street.
