Still in use?

Updating this for each new issue is listed as one of the tasks in

the Signpost publication process
, but is it still in use?

The only relevant place I could find is

User:SoxBot#Newsletter delivery, SoxBot appears to have stopped delivering Signposts issue around the beginning of September 2009. After that, EdwardsBot took over (the message distributed by EdwardsBot is provided elsewhere, at User:EdwardsBot/Spam
).

In the publication instructions, the bit about this message was added in January 2009, when SoxBot II was still using it.

No, it's no longer necessary. I continued doing it because it made it easy to update the blog, by cutting and pasting from there.--ragesoss (talk) 04:40, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I removed it from the tasks list. I always use the issue contents page (e.g. Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/2010-08-23) to scrape HTML for the blog (but I'm planning a more elegant solution anyway). Regards, HaeB (talk) 05:06, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
