Wilcox is a village in
History
Wilcox was established in the 1880s when the Burlington and Missouri River Railroad was extended to that point.[5] It was named for its founder, Henry Wilcox.[6]
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.54 square miles (1.40 km2), all land.[7]

The median age in the village was 45.8 years. 26.3% of residents were under the age of 18; 4.4% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 18.2% were from 25 to 44; 34.4% were from 45 to 64; and 16.8% were 65 or older. The gender makeup of the village was 50.0% male and 50.0% female.
