Southwestern Writers Collection
The Collection holds the papers of numerous 20th-century and 21st-century writers, including Jim Hightower,[3] Rick Riordan,[4] Cormac McCarthy,[5] Larry McMurtry,[6] Willie Nelson,[7] Sam Shepard,[8] Sergio Troncoso,[9] Bud Shrake,[10] Texas Monthly magazine,[11] and William D. Wittliff,[12] among others.
The film holdings contain over 500 film and television screenplays as well as complete production archives for several popular films, including the television miniseries
Southwestern & Mexican Photography Collection
The Southwestern & Mexican Photography Collection assembles a broad range of photographic work from the Southwestern United States and Mexico, from the 19th-century to the present day. Contemporary imagery is emphasized. Materials also include photographs in books, manuscripts, serial publications, and ephemera related to the photographic arts.[15]
The Southwestern & Mexican Photography Collection holds major collections of works by Keith Carter,[16] Russell Lee (vintage photographs),[17] Mariana Yampolsky,[18] Kate Breakey,[19] Rocky Schenck,[20] Graciela Iturbide,[21] Lázaro Blanco,[22] and Yolanda Andrade,[23] and others.[24]
