Yuga Labs is a media company. It is best known as the creator of
Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs[1] as well as others and also owns CryptoPunks
.
Yuga Labs was founded in 2021.
Originally the founders used anonymous names,[6] but all four were doxed in a widely covered incident in 2022[7][8][9][10] when their names were reported by BuzzFeed News.[11][12]
Yuga Labs raised $450mln in 2022.[13] Yuga Labs after that round was worth US$4bln.[14][15]
In 2022 Yuga Labs bought an NFT
The company hired an Activision Blizzard president as its CEO in 2023.[18]
