The women's 1500 metres at the 2013 World Championships in Athletics was held at the Luzhniki Stadium on the 11th, 13th and 15th of August.[1]

From the start of the final, two Americans, defending champion

Faith Chepngetich Kipyegon tried to hang on to her teammate but Hannah England made an impressive run from back in the pack to pass her on the inside to get fourth.[2]
