The 2018 Connecticut elections were held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, to elect the following offices:

Connecticut State House of Representatives, and various others. Primary elections were held on August 14, 2018.[1]

The

blue state", no Democrat had won a gubernatorial election in the state by more than 5 points since 1986. This continued in 2018, with Democratic nominee Ned Lamont
only winning the governorship by 3 points.
