Personal life

Khinshtein was born in Russia to a

Jewish family. His father Yevsey Abramovich Khinshtein and mother Inna Abramovna Regirer are engineers.[3]

Sanctions

He was sanctioned by the

UK government in 2022 in relation to the Russo-Ukrainian War.[4]
