Amrita Narlikar is non-resident Senior Fellow at the
She works in the fields of international negotiations, the political economy of international trade, and something termed: "rising powers". Narlikar is the daughter of an author: Aruna Narlikar, and physicist: Anant V. Narlikar.[3] She is the granddaughter of physicist Vishnu Vasudev Narlikar.[citation needed]

Amrita Narlikar was awarded her MPhil and DPhil from
Before moving to Hamburg, she held the position of reader in international political economy at the University of Cambridge and a fellowship at Darwin College.[5] She was also a senior research associate at the Centre for International Studies at the University of Oxford from 2003 to 2014.[6]
