He co-wrote and co-directed the 2024 documentary film No Other Land, which premiered at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival,[2] at which it won two best-documentary awards.[3][4]

In 2021, HaKol HaYehudi and Channel 12 falsely accused Adra of setting fire to a building in the Hebron Hills area of the West Bank, in order to frame the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF).[1] On May 8, 2022, he was beaten by IDF forces[12][13] while reporting on IDF soldiers dismantling a structure that he built.[14]

In February 2024, the film No Other Land about the situation of Masafer Yatta that he co-directed premiered at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival and won the Berlinale Best Documentary film award and Panorama Audience Award for Best Documentary Film.[15][16]
