Brandun Schweizer is an American politician who serves as a member of the Illinois House of Representatives for the 104th district.[1][2]
During Schweizer's first months in office, the Quaker Oats factory, a fixture in the Danville area for 65 years, announced they would be ceasing production and closing permanently, effective June 8, 2024.[3]
President Biden won the 104th district by 4 in 2020. Governor Pritzker won it by one point in 2022. According to the Illinoize, this may be the best Democratic pickup opportunity in 2024.[4]
