Buckeye Township is a civil township of Gladwin County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the township population was 1,308.^[3]

Geography

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 34.56 square miles (89.51 km²), of which 34.17 square miles (88.50 km²) is land and 0.39 square miles (1.01 km²) (1.13%) is water.^[3]

• M-30 runs south–north and forms the majority of the eastern boundary of the township.
• M-61 runs west–east through the northern portion of the township.

South River Road runs south and north bound through the township.

The average household size was 2.69 and the average family size was 3.07.

In the township the population was spread out, with 27.8% under the age of 18, 7.8% from 18 to 24, 28.7% from 25 to 44, 24.0% from 45 to 64, and 11.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females, there were 107.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 102.5 males.
