Purpose

What is the purpose of this category? Of course all non-avian dinosaurs are "prehistoric". Usually, the term "prehistoric" refers to human history before the invention of writing. I am not sure the word even applies to periods in the existence of other species. ♆ CUSH ♆ 20:57, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
