Why is this category called Wellesley College alumni? Shouldn't it be called Wellesley College alumnae? Wellesley refers to its graduates as alumnae. Are there a significant number of Wellesley graduates who are male? Dbackeberg 15:49, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
I support I guess?Runescape is an example,it is of british origin so the arcticle needs to be in british english(unless translated to a different language(NOT ENGLISH).--203.120.68.72 17:03, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

This category is now called Category:Wellesley_College_alumni. This decision was by no means unanimous. In short, this category is named Category:Wellesley_College_alumni because of three users.

This is obviously going to keep coming up until it is fixed. So just change it already. 199.125.109.15 23:31, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
- To head off any plans at renaming, I'm a Wellesley College alumnus and think the category name is fine as it is. On a previous CFD, I noticed the comment "Literally, calling graduates of Wellesley "alumni" is saying that at least one of them is a man, and this is an insult" from User:Dbackeberg -- well, I'm a man and a graduate of Wellesley, and I don't think it insults other Wellesley graduates to acknowledge that I exist.
