Cerro Murallón is a glacier
.On the Argentine side, the hill has been part of the
Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica Region. According to some sources its height is 2,656 meters (8,714 ft) above sea level,[1] and according to others it is 2,831 meters (9,288 ft) above sea level.[2]
Toponymy
Cerro Murallón is named for its immense granite wall it presents.
