Chaim Dovid Zwiebel is the Vice Executive President of Agudath Israel of America.[1][2] He joined the organisation,[3] after first working for the law firm for 4 years and a half,[4] was selected for his current position in 2008, due to the death of his predecessor, Moshe Sherer.[5]

As Executive Vice President
Zwiebel helped Agudath Israel to organise and operate, the August 2012 National Celebration of the 12th Siyum HaShas. The celebration was held in MetLife Stadium, and was the largest gathering of Orthodox Jewry in the history of the United States, with 90,000 people attending.[4]
As part of an ongoing[9] challenge, regarding religious freedom, Zwiebel, who was described by The New York Times as "leader of an ultra-Orthodox group",[10] was successful in pushing for the repeal by NYC Mayor de Blasio,[11]The Times had previously called it, “Mayor Bloomberg's attempt "to regulate Jewish circumcision"”.[12]
