Charles Henry Turner (14 January 1842 – 13 July 1923) was an Anglican bishop, Bishop of Islington from 1898 to 1923.[1]

He was consecrated a bishop on the Feast of
St Barnabas 1898 (11 June), at St Paul's Cathedral by Frederick Temple, Archbishop of Canterbury.[6] He served as Bishop suffragan of Islington, with responsibility for North London, which had hitherto been under the Bishops suffragan Bedford and then of Stepney.[7] Turner was simultaneously Rector of St Andrew Undershaft.[8] He died on 13 July 1923,[9] and home in Clapham Common; he was still in post de jure but had de facto gradually retired in ill-health over the course of several years.[3]
