Christian Kumpf

Christian Kumpf (August 22, 1838[1] – January 9, 1904) was a German-born politician in Ontario, Canada. He served as mayor of Waterloo from 1879 to 1880 and from 1888 to 1889.[2]

He was born in

Dominion Life Assurance Company and served as one its first vice-presidents. Kumpf was first president of the Waterloo Board of Trade, first chair of the Board of Park Management and a member of the first board for the Berlin-Waterloo Hospital.[3]
