EMBS News premiered on May 8, 1972, which aired on EMBStv were moved to Go Television/GoTV and GoPlus which under the blocktimer (or GO Productions Inc.) and ending to 50-year longtime partnership since February 2024, At same year, the program was changed its name as GO News from September 30, 1974 to February 2, 2024 but terminated the partnership for lasted to 40 years and half decades, Since 2019, GO News were moved to GoPlus and later changed its 30-minute timeslot (6:00-6:30 PM, PST), After ended its longtime partnership, it was returned the original name, as EMBS News which return the EMBS branding after these years, And back again its original 60-minute timeslot (6:30 PM-7:30 PM, PST) from 1972 to 2019 after ended its partnership at same year.

The program was temporarily suspended on February 2, 2024 after ended its longtime partnership for lasted to 49 years (which celebrated its 50th anniversary for end of September this year), Before this, EMBS signed-off for the last time and return the original branding (similar the 1972-74 format) will starting to the same month, EMBS took over the GO's newscast program, After 12 days suspension, the program resumed its programming on February 12, 2024 after 12-day suspension during to retired the partnership, GO News reverted back its name as EMBS News also the network be the same.

Also carried its EMBS News franchise, known as EMBS News Update (formerly GO News Update) during to news updates every Monday and Fridays, and included the defunct franchise including EMBS Morning News (now Good Morning Guys, later changed its morning news/talk show) which premiered on February 12, 2024.
