Jemiah Umolu (born 28 October 2005) is an English professional footballer who plays for Premier League club Crystal Palace, as a forward.[2] He has played on loan at Port Vale.
Early life
Jemiah Umolu was born on 28 October 2005.[2] He is of Nigerian heritage.[3]
Career
Umolu joined Academy at West Ham United at the age of ten.[4] He left the London Stadium after his two-year scholarship ended in June 2024.[5][6] He joined Crystal Palace after impressing on trial for the Under-21s.[7] He scored 13 goals in 16 games to be the top-scorer in Professional Development League 2 for the first half of the 2024–25 season and was nominated for November's Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.[8][9] On 10 January 2025, he joined League Two club Port Vale on loan until the end of the 2024–25 season.[10][11] He made his English Football League debut on 1 February, coming on as a substitute in a 2–1 win over Accrington Stanley at Vale Park. Manager Darren Moore said that he had shown his composure despite only making a cameo appearance.[12]

Umolu is a strong and athletic forward who is skilled in isolating opponents in one-on-one situations.[5][13]
