Là où je me terre is an autoficticious novel by Caroline Dawson (Not to be confused with Caroline Dawson, the fictional character), a Québécois author born in Chile.

The novel, published in 2020, tells a slightly romanticized version of Caroline's childhood. It focuses on her departure from Chile at a young age and arrival to Montreal. The novel discusses Caroline's changing relationship with language as she grew closer to French than to Spanish, widening the culture gap between herself and her parents, who never really learnt French.[1] The novel is not written in chronological order, and is more a collection of fragmented memories from the author.
