The Ambassador is an Israeli reality show by

Israeli advocacy representative. Initially the producers planned to place the winner directly into Israel's foreign ministry, but that was abandoned due to a conflict of interest[1]. The final destination was to serve at the headquarters of the American organization Israel At Heart in New York. 14 candidates participated in each season. Each went through a large number of screenings, competitions, tasks and challenges[2]. In each episode, a contestant was eliminated and finally the winning advocacy representative was determined and sent to the United States. The show was highly popular among Israeli television viewers, with 25% of the population watching the first season finale[3]
