"Each Time" is the first single released by English

UK Singles Chart
, as well as their final chart hit in most other countries, including Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Sweden, and Switzerland.

Composition

The album version of "Each Time" is three minutes and forty-seven seconds,[3] but the single version is extended to four minutes and one second.[4] The song diverts from the band's established pop sound in favor of an R&B style in the vein of Stevie Wonder's music from the 1970s.[5]

Critical reception

Music & Media magazine wrote that the band's new R&B sound fit them "surprisingly well".[5] In Oxfordshire, Fox FM head of music Stuart Davies also agreed that the band's new style suited them well and called the song "excellent".[5]

Chart performance

The single debuted at number two on the

ARIA Singles Chart.[16]

Track listings

The Resurrection album sampler consists of three tracks: "Ain't No Stoppin'", "Sleeping in My Head", and "I'm Here for You"
